What a crime, to end life for mere games.
Senate panel on Benghazi: 'The attacks were preventable'
Wed Jan 15, 2014
Agree with you all too much. I don't think all the blame goes to the political parties, though -- it's also the worship of ratings/money by the remnants of the news media, now more properly called tabloids, that have allowed this kind of crap to be called "important." It's all sensationalism and sca …
Prove those antibacterial soaps are better and safe, FDA tells makers
Mon Dec 16, 2013
Extremely old news - we had an exercise in a microbiology lab more than 10 years ago to test if washing with antibacterial soap is more effective than normal handwashing, and invariably the result was "no"...
MSNBC host Martin Bashir resigns over Palin remarks
Wed Dec 4, 2013
Nonsense like this is why liberal talk show hosts call conservatives idiots. Getting fed up with a group that works against the interests of minorities and the poor while consistently twisting the truth and shunning scientific fact about any subject can hardly be described as exhibiting "extremist h …
Bahrain: We use tear gas on protesters 'appropriately'
Sat Oct 26, 2013
Not so fast with the judgment, U.S.... anybody remember tear gas used on the Occupy Wall Street protesters? We live in quite a bit of a police state ourselves; police are paramilitary outfits and are happy to disperse certain protests.

US gun culture is 'corrupting the world,' Australia ex-deputy PM says after Okla. slaying
Fri Aug 23, 2013
Much respect - I agree with you. I also grew up (and still live) in the south, but I've never been much for "enjoying" guns as people seem to do. People should have their freedoms, yes, but there's a rational limit to how much access to deadly weapons one should have, just like there are limits for …

White House quells Westboro Baptist rage with dullest ... GIF ... ever
Wed Jul 3, 2013
In reply to: AnotherTexan #5 Agreed with Jakrabt -- Westboro Baptist doesn't keep to themselves with their hate; they go out and actively harrass people. Most people reacting to that find them detestable, but don't go out and harrass them in kind.
New H7N9 bird flu can resist drugs, study finds
Tue May 28, 2013
Blocking reverse transcriptase is a good treatment for HIV and hepatitis, and we have drugs that do that. But influenza isn't a retrovirus, so it doesn't have reverse transcriptase.
